I FINALLY watched TFIOS last night, and let me tell you now, it was awful.

Not awful as in it is an awful adaptation; awful as in the only other movie I cried watching in the cinema was Harry Potter DH2, because come now, which 90’s child doesn’t cry at that film!? I rarely cry while watching movies; much to the dismay of some, I have never cried watching The Notebook, Titanic, or other major tear-jerkers (aside from Moulin Rouge. God, that film hits me right in the feels…)

TFIOS is beautiful as a novel, and brilliant as a film.

The Fault in Our Stars – First Official Clip

Yesterday at the MTV Movie Awards in LA, the first clip of Josh Boone’s adaptation of The Fault in Our Stars was revealed. And it was beautiful.

If you haven’t heard of The Fault in Our Stars (known simply as TFiOS online) then I have only one question for you: Do you have a good view in that CAVE YOU LIVE IN?!

Seriously now, this novel has taken over the world. It’s everywhere. More importantly, John Green is everywhere. That novel has given the word “okay” the potential to make the entire fandom burst into tears, and curl up into a ball due to the overwhelming pain of FEELS! It’s a seriously painful disease, I would not recommend it to anyone. Developing FEELS will pretty much take over your life, and there is no way of stopping it. It will consume your every thought, I can promise you that.
