There are few things that empower women as much having smooth legs. I’m not sure why this ridiculous notion that women must be completely hairless is pushed onto society, and drummed into our heads from an early age, but regardless of that, it feels really freaking amazing to be able to show off your legs in the sunshine.

For me, there’s something about having smooth legs that makes me want to put on red lipstick and my highest heels, and strut around like I own the world. I feel so damn empowered, like I can do anything and no one can stop me, all because my legs are hairless. I honestly am unsure why that is, but I know for a fact that I am not the only one that feels that way…

I know some people will read that last paragraph and think I’m only after attention, but that’s not the case at all; I just want to do that for me! In any case I’m so terrified of speaking to new people, that even when I do dress up to strut about, I won’t talk or make eye contact with anyone, unless I know their name, age, number, where they live, parents names, pets names, siblings names, and their entire family tree (maybe that’s a slight exaggeration, but the point remains!)

It really is a fabulous feeling, when you feel powerful. The whole world is yours, and you feel like you can do and be anything you want, and it’s that motivation that will push you to go out and get what you want! That’s the motivation I need and crave for so badly!

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to sloth around my living room watching New Girl. Because it really is exhausting being so fabulous all the damn time.
